President Vahagn Khachaturyan awarded Stepan Kerkyasharian a Medal of Gratitude

President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan awarded a Medal of Gratitude to Stepan Kerkyasharian (Australia), Deputy Chair of the Australian and New Zealand Diocesan Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The President congratulated the guest on receiving the high award and expressed gratitude for his contribution and long-standing activity aimed at preserving Armenian identity.

"You are one of unique people who have dedicated his entire conscious life to patriotic activity, and it is also essential that you have received high commendation in the environment where you live and work, i.e. in Australia. Today I am delighted to have the opportunity to thank you for many years of your work on behalf of the Armenian authorities, the people of Armenia and myself," the President noted.

Stepan Kerkyasharian expressed his gratitude for the reception and award and emphasized that he will continue his activities with great responsibility and enthusiasm.
