A reception was held at the presidential residence on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Armenian dram

A reception was held at the residence of the President of the Republic of Armenia on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Armenian dram.

During the event, the participants of the reception watched the exhibition of Armenian drams and samples reflecting the history of the development of the Armenian currency organized by the Armenian History Museum at the President's residence and familiarized themselves with the historical journey of the Armenian dram from ancient times to the present day.

The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan delivered a speech at the celebration event and in his speech addressed the historical episodes of the creation and introduction of the national currency.

The President also thanked the current and former leadership and employees of the Central Bank for their professional and dedicated work.
