The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Nariman Mohammed Sharif Abdulla AlMulla presented her credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Dr. Nariman Mohammed Sharif AlMulla presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
In his welcome remarks, the President noted, "Once again, I congratulate you and wish you success in your work. I am confident that your appointment will give new impetus to our relations and allow us to bring new ideas to life."
Ambassador Nariman Mohammed Sharif AlMulla expressed her gratitude for the reception and noted, "It is essential for me to act as an Ambassador, especially in Armenia. There are ample opportunities for cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Armenia. There is a lot of ambition and interest in the economic and trade sphere. With great interest, the Emirati side wishes to enhance the cooperation in trade."
During the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the close contact between Armenia and the United Emirates were discussed. The sides touched upon the impressive results of the Armenian-Emirati cooperation in the trade and economic sphere and their consistent promotion.
The sides placed a special emphasis on the further deepening of the existing close relations and contacts in the fields of high technologies, healthcare, economy, and culture among others.
In the course of the discussion, the President introduced the newly appointed Ambassador to the content of the Karabakh conflict and the anti-Armenian policy carried out by Azerbaijan against the population of Nagorno Karabakh.
Both sides attached importance to the active mutual visits between the two countries and the existing high level of political dialogue as well as the efforts aimed at its enhancement.
At the meeting, Ambassador Nariman Mohammed Sharif AlMulla conveyed to President Vahagn Khachaturyan the invitation to participate in the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) to be held in the United Emirates.
Toward the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue the working contacts in the near future.
