President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a farewell meeting with Ambassador of Norway to Armenia, H.E. Helene Sand Andresen

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan had a farewell meeting with Helene Sand Andresen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Armenia, in connection with the completion of diplomatic service.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the President highly valued her efforts in the development of Armenian-Norwegian relations and wished her best of success in her future work.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Andresen highlighted that during the diplomatic mission, she was always guided by the goal of ensuring a higher level of friendly relations and cooperation between Armenia and Norway.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the aggressive actions of the Azerbaijani side in the direction of Vardenis-Sotk following which 4 Armenian servicemen were injured. President Khachaturyan emphasized that the military aggression against the territorial integrity of Armenia by Azerbaijan impedes the establishment of sustainable and durable peace in the region.

During the discussion, the President highlighted that Armenia is committed to lasting peace in the South Caucasus and establishing good relations with its neighbors.
