President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia Nicolaas Schermers

President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands Nicolaas Schermers on the occasion of the National holiday of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the birthday of King Willem-Alexander.

Welcoming the guest, the President noted: “My heartfelt congratulations to you. It is very symbolic that the birthday of the King is also celebrated as a day of unity and solidarity in the Netherlands. Please accept all the heartfelt congratulations from me and our people. I wish you success and new achievements in the fields of science, culture and sport.”

Expressing his gratitude for the reception, the Ambassador said: “I am very glad to meet you. I am also happy that I have an opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations between Armenia and the Netherlands with you.”

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of matters regarding the close cooperation between Armenia and the Netherlands.

Both sides attached importance to the joint projects and initiatives in economic, social, high-tech, cultural and other fields.
