President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the SJC Chairman Karen Andreasyan

President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Karen Andreasyan.

Welcoming the guest, the President noted that he closely follows the reforms carried out in the judicial system, the importance of which is hard to overestimate.

In his speech, Vahagn Khachaturyan noted: “I believe, the success of the reforms carried out in our country will also depend on what reforms will be carried out in the judicial system. The biggest expectations are from this system and I hope that with you as a leader, the Supreme Judicial Council will truly succeed and we, as citizens, will be sure that one of the government branches – the judicial branch, will dispense justice in the Republic of Armenia.”

Expressing his gratitude for the reception, Karen Andreasyan noted:

“Mr. President, first of all, thank you for this opportunity, for this meeting. I also want to say that the first half of my tenure is coming to an end, and during today’s meeting, I will present to you some details on what we managed to accomplish during the first half.”

During the meeting, the SJC Chairman touched upon the ongoing reforms in the judicial system, providing the President with some details regarding the latter, as well as comprehensive programs implemented by the SJC and steps being taken.
