President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a telephone conversation with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The President touched upon the regional matters, discussed in detail the issues pertaining to the humanitarian crisis created in Artsakh, and exchanged thoughts on the resolution of the issue. The President presented Armenia’s steps aimed at the establishment of peace in the region, reiterated the readiness of the Armenian side to carry out all the obligations deriving from the trilateral statements, expecting the same from the Azerbaijani side.

Expressing his total support for the peaceful process, Frank-Walter Steinmeier noted that Germany is ready to exert maximum efforts to settle the situation and establish peace.
