President Vahagn Khachaturyan participated in the meeting of the Board of the Armenian State University of Economics

Today, a Board meeting was held at the Armenian State University of Economics. The Chairman of the University Board President Vahagn Khachaturyan, members of the Board, as well as professors and students, participated in the meeting.

The 2022 annual report of the ASUE activities was discussed at the meeting.

Before touching upon the agenda matters, President Vahagn Khachaturyan noted in his welcome speech that the issues facing our country should not be an impediment on the university’s way to new achievements, on the contrary, we should do everything possible to move forward on the normal path of development.

“Understanding all the difficulties we are facing as a county, I would like to see each of us in our right places, carrying out our duties conscientiously. The students, the professors, the administration of the university, everyone should be in their place, and we all should do our jobs. Believe me, the authorities, the Government and other bodies are doing everything to resolve the events and problems that have occurred recently. It’s rather hard to find a solution, as our neighbouring country is taking very baffling, illogical steps, but be sure that the answers we give will be balanced and extensively studied, and all the consequences of any step will be taken into account,”
noted the President.

According to him, Armenia should use its advantages that lie in the fact that “we make our own decisions in our activities in our social, political and everyday life."

Among the agenda issues, the Rector of the Armenian State University of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Diana Galoyan delivered a report presenting the activity of the university in 2022, the fulfilment of the revenue and expenditure estimation for 2022, as well as the draft of the revenue and expenditure estimation for 2023 and the university's 2023-2027 development strategy.

The Board made a decision to approve the annual report of activities, assessed the results of the fulfilment of the revenue and expenditure estimation as satisfactory, and approved the draft of the revenue and expenditure estimation for 2023 and the university's 2023-2027 development strategy.
