President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Zhanna Andreasyan, the Minister of ESCS

President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Zhanna Andreasyan.

President Khachaturyan congratulated the Minister on her appointment and wished her success in her challenging and responsible work.

“I wish you fruitful work and success in respect to your appointment to this important and demanding position. I think the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports is one of the most important departments of the executive branch, which, due to the nature of its activity, has direct relevance to all layers of our society,” emphasized President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Zhanna Andreasyan expressed her gratitude to the President for the reception and highlighted that the primary guarantee for the efficient operation of this manifold ministry is cooperation and harmony of the interdepartmental and sectoral directions.

During the meeting, the newly appointed Minister presented to the President the general state of the ongoing and upcoming reforms in the field of education, as well as the steps taken in the direction of the implementation of the system of certification of pedagogues.

The President assured that he is always ready to support the projects and events initiated by the Ministry, to the extent possible.
