President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Tigran Khachatryan.
Welcoming the guest, the President congratulated him on his appointment to such a high and responsible position and wished him success.
“I have no doubt that your experience as a Minister of Finances and Economy will have a big and significant role in your new position as a Deputy Prime Minister, and in my personal assessment, your appointment will also lead to a greater efficiency of the government's work," the President emphasized.
Tigran Khachatryan expressed his gratitude to the President for the reception and noted that throughout his working life, he was always guided by the principle of cooperation and that he will do his utmost in his new position to increase the efficiency of the departments under his coordination and the management of the executive branch in general.
During the meeting, Tigran Khachatryan presented to the President the general picture of the current developments in the Armenian financial systems at the end of the year and the predictable risks in the upcoming year, as well as they ways of overcoming them, particularly the possibilities of measures designed to raise the performance of capital expenditures.
During the meeting, President Khachaturyan stressed his eagerness to support the programs planned by the executive branch as much as possible.
The sides reached a bilateral agreement to continue mutual working contacts and consultation meetings.
