President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the UN Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin and the participants of “Young European Ambassadors” initiative

At the Residence of the President, President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the European Union Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin and the participants of “Young European Ambassadors” initiative.

Welcoming the guests, President Khachaturyan particularly noted:

“I am pleased to see you here. In my work, I exceedingly value meetings with the youth, for in the end, you are the creators of the future. In 1988, I was young like you, when I joined the Karabakh movement. We had high hopes that we would manage to solve the conflict using all the opportunities. Unfortunately, the conflict was way more complicated from every angle, hence becoming a companion of our independence history until today, and sadly we have not found a solution yet. Perhaps you should be the ones to provide an assessment of what we failed to do.”

During the meeting, in a friendly atmosphere, the participants of the initiative presented to the President the main directions and fields of activity of the initiative, as well as the works carried out in the communities and the programs implemented by the "European Union Young Ambassador" network.
