President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the USA to Armenia Lynne Tracy

Today, President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Lynne Tracy, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Armenia, on the occasion of completing her diplomatic mission in our country.

President Khachaturyan hailed Ambassador Tracy’s diplomatic service in Armenia and expressed his gratitude for her personal efforts aimed at the development and strengthening of the relations between Armenia and America.

In his speech, President Khachaturyan put a special emphasis on the fact that the diplomatic mission of the Ambassador coincided with a difficult period for Armenia, and in this respect he highlighted the importance of Ambassador Tracy’s substantial work both on the diplomatic front and from the viewpoint of public perceptions.

Ambassador Tracy expressed her gratitude to the President for the reception and noted that she will fondly recall the years of her diplomatic mission in Armenia and to the extent possible, she will follow the implementation of the reforms started during this period, particularly in the judicial system.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reached a bilateral agreement to maintain working contacts as much as possible.

President Khachaturyan wished Lynne Tracy success in her further activities.
