The newly appointed Ambassador of Philippines presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan

Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Philippines to the Republic of Armenia Igor Bailen (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

President Khachaturyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the office and wished him productive work in all his initiatives.

Ambassador Igor Bailen expressed his gratitude for the reception and noted that he will make maximum efforts to enrich the bilateral agenda.

The sides highlighted that there is a great potential to expand the cooperation between the two countries and it is necessary to take steps in the direction of promoting bilateral trade and economic ties, activating direct contacts between the peoples of the two countries. Issues related to the deepening of cooperation in the fields of advanced technologies, culture, and tourism were also addressed.
