President Vahagn Khachaturyan participates in the session of the Economic Policy Council under the Prime Minister

At the Dilijan Training and Research Center of the Central Bank of Armenia, President Vahagn Khachaturyan participates in the work of the two-day session of the Economic Policy Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, which started today.

Within the framework of the session's agenda, issues related to economic policy of Armenia, current situation and forecasted developments are discussed. Reports on monetary policy implemented by the RA Central Bank, inflation and currency developments, as well as macroeconomic inflation and currency developments of recent years implemented by the RA Ministry of Finance, perspectives and fiscal policy priorities for ensuring high economic growth in the medium term were presented today.

Discussions on the RA government's economic plan, macroeconomic developments, monetary and fiscal policy, sustainable development of agriculture and food system, improvement of agricultural competitiveness through land reforms and other related topics will be held during the two-day session.
