By the decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan, high titles were awarded on the occasion of Constitution Day

On the occasion of Constitution Day, by the decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Deputy Director of the National Security Service, Colonel Samvel Hayrapetyan was awarded the military rank of the Major-General, the First Deputy Head of Police, Police Colonel Aram Hovhannisyan was awarded the rank of Police Major General, Chairman of the Investigative Committee, First Class Councilor of Justice Argishti Kyaramyan was awarded the rank of Third Class State Councilor of Justice, First Class Senior Councilor of Tax Service Tigran Harutyunyan was awarded the rank of First Class State Councilor of Tax Service.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the officials on Constitution Day and on receiving high titles, particularly noting:

“I congratulate you on Constitution Day and on receiving high titles. It is very symbolic that you receive your ranks and titles on this holiday. The Constitution isn’t solely the Mother Law of our country, but also the axis of state and public life organization.

It’s thanks to the Constitution that various state bodies and branches of government carry out their normal activities, ensuring the harmony of the government legitimacy and civil freedoms.

Today, within the limits of our capabilities and functional responsibilities, each of us should act in accordance with the Constitution. Any high rank is first of all a responsibility before our country and the citizens, and I am sure that you will continue to carry out the mission entrusted to you with honour and dedication.

With the joint effort of all of us, we must ensure the constitutionality of the life of our country and citizens, which is the only way to guarantee the development and stability of our country, and the welfare and protection of our citizens.
