A sitting of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All Armenian Fund, chaired by the president of the Republic of Armenia, the president of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund Vahagn Khachaturyan was held

Today, an annual sitting of the Board of Trustees of Hayastan All Armenian Fund was held, chaired by the president of the Republic of Armenia, the president of Hayastan All Armenian Fund Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The meeting began with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan.
In his opening speech, President Vahagn Khachaturyan said:

“Honourable Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia,

Honourable President of the Republic of Artsakh,

Distinguished members of the Board of Trustees,

Our partners from Diaspora,

Ladies and gentlemen,

The occasion of our meeting this year is doubly festive; it’s the 30th anniversary of Hayastan All Armenian Fund, and we are always happy to see our compatriots from around the world here. From the day of its foundation, the fund has become an important nationwide idea, an axis, which has united. We have discussed issues of national and state significance, trying to find solutions.

Hayastan All Armenian Fund is, indeed, a pan-Armenian institution, which may be one of a kind, both from the perspective of its content and the ways of organization.

Besides, the daily work of each of us, the members of the Board of Trustees, in particular, should be aimed at the recognition of the fund, keeping its name and mission unstained.

The pan-Armenian involvement in the fund as such excludes any political tendency, preference or impact, so there is no need to even mention, that the members of the Board of Trustees and the entire personnel should spare no effort to exclude any political manipulation or suspicions.

This is another reason why we should ensure the transparent, accountable and public work of the fund.

To bring this goal to life, I also expect the results of the relevant studies of the Audit Chamber of the Republic of Armenia to be ready by the end of this month.

I am hopeful that the report of the chamber will contribute to the establishment of a trusting atmosphere and will cast light on the general situation.
