President Vahagn Khachaturyan had a meeting with the Administrator of the UN Development Program Achim Steiner within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The President emphasised the importance of the UN's support to Armenia in achieving the key goals of sustainable development and the implementation of national reform priorities.

It was noted that the Programs implemented in Armenia by the UN, based on the analysis of the needs and opportunities of the country, were of great importance for the development of Armenia.

The President of Armenia particularly mentioned the work of the National Innovative Centre for Sustainable Development Goals implemented by the Government of Armenia and the United Nations, which is aimed at identifying and realizing Armenia's development potential.

During the meeting, both sides gave importance to ensuring the effective continuation of the programs aimed at sustainable development, as well as combining efforts to develop digital technologies.
