President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Sport of Russia Oleg Matytsin

Today, President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin. The President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpischev was also present at the meeting.

Emphasizing the importance of expanding cooperation with Russia in the field of sports and implementing joint programs, President Vahagn Khachaturyan presented Armenia's opportunities to conduct joint sports trainings and expand cooperation in various sports. He highlighted the importance of the visit of the Minister of Sport of Russia Oleg Matytsin to Armenia and noted that it will give additional impetus to the expansion of joint programs and the creation of new opportunities.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan noted, that Armenia gives big importance to the development of sport and makes consistent efforts especially towards the implementation of mass sports programs.

Oleg Matytsin thanked for the reception and noted, that they are happy to see that Armenia puts big efforts into the development of sport and continues having a number of important achievements in different international tournaments. The Russian Minister noted, that they are ready to do everything possible to expand and deepen the centuries-old brotherhood between the countries.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the organization of joint programs, training gatherings, development of sports infrastructures in various fields of sports were discussed.
