President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan presented state awards and congratulated on Police Day

On Police Day, a group of police officers of the Republic of Armenia received medals for courage, dedication, legality, and contribution to maintaining public order, shown in service, by the decree of the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Today, the solemn award ceremony took place at the President’s Residence.

Congratulating the policemen present at the award ceremony, and all the employees of the police system of the Republic of Armenia, President Khachaturyan particularly said: "It is a great honour for me today to present these medals to you on the occasion of Police Day.

I am convinced that you will do your best for us, the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, to live safely. The guests arriving in Armenia and people carrying out diplomatic missions in our country also feel the high atmosphere of security in the Republic of Armenia, about which I am told during various meetings.

I am confident that you will keep on using your strengths, abilities, and professional skills for the stability of the Republic of Armenia, security of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, and the well-being of our country.

Special congratulations to all those awarded. I wish them success in their personal life, and of course at work: new titles, and new medals.

I hope that the police will fulfill their mission with great responsibility, will serve to preserve the democratic values of the Republic of Armenia."
