President Armen Sarkissian met with the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan

Today, the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan.

They touched upon the external and internal challenges facing the country. President Sarkissian expressed his concern over the recent provocations by the Azerbaijani armed forces and the continuing belligerent Azerbaijani rhetoric.

President Sarkissian and the NA Speaker also spoke about the role of parliamentary diplomacy and stressed the importance of more vigorous and efficient activities in this area.
