The newly appointed Ambassador of Thailand to Armenia presented his credentials to President Armen Sarkissian
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Armenia Sasiwat Wongsinsawat (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated the diplomat and wished him success, expressing confidence that he would make efforts to further develop bilateral relations.
Ambassador Sasiwat Wongsinsawat stressed that the Thai side is interested in deepening relations with Armenia, and expressed readiness to participate in activating ties between the two countries, implementing mutually beneficial joint programs, and expanding cooperation.
Touching upon the directions of cooperation, the parties particularly emphasized the importance of promoting cooperation in the sphere of tourism, underscoring that this would contribute to activating both business ties and contacts between the two peoples. They mentioned the spheres of jewelry and gemstones, education and high technologies, also discussed the opportunities for exporting Armenian products.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
