President Armen Sarkissian received the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Shombi Sharp

Today, President Armen Sarkissian received the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Shombi Sharp on the completion of his mission in our country.

President Sarkissian thanked the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia for his effective work during the mission, for the development of cooperation between Armenia and the UN structures, and for the programs in various fields. The President wished success to Shombi Sharp in his further activities and expressed hope that he would maintain ties with Armenia.

The UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia noted that he was leaving Armenia with the best impressions and warm memories. Considering the programs effective in different spheres, he noted that in several cases, it is possible to present the Armenian experience as an example in other countries. Shombi Sharp expressed confidence that in 2021-2025, the strategic cooperation with Armenia will fruitfully continue within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Partnership.
