The newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Armenia Helene Sand Andresen presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Armenia Helen Sand Andresen (residence in Tbilisi) presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated the diplomat and wished her further success, expressing confidence that he would direct his efforts to the continuous development of the Armenian-Norwegian relations.
Issues related to the activation and deepening of bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting. The interlocutors considered the spheres of education, ecology, green and information technologies, tourism, agriculture, and effective management of water resources particularly interesting for the cooperation. From the point of view of activating the ties between the two peoples, President Sarkissian also stressed the significance of implementing joint cultural programs.
Ambassador Helen Sand Andresen expressed readiness to make every effort to further enrich the agenda of bilateral relations, as well as to stimulate economic activity. She also informed that Norway will soon provide a significant batch of "Moderna" vaccine to Armenia, expressing hope that it will be a significant support in the fight against the pandemic.
