The Presidents of Armenia and Italy had a tête-à-tête talk at the Quirinal Palace
The téte-á-téte talk of the Presidents of Armenia, and Italy Armen Sarkissian, and Sergio Mattarella took place in the Residence of the President of Italy, in the Quirinal Palace.
Presidents Sarkissian and Mattarella touched upon the centuries-old Armenian-Italian friendship, the strong interstate relations, which shaped over the past years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the perspectives of their development. They noted that the Armenian and Italian peoples, as bearers of the earliest civilizations of the world, have a rich chronicle of relations, based on close historical ties, and identity of Christian values.
The Presidents of Armenia and Italy also exchanged views on the agenda of bilateral relations, regional and international developments and issues.
