President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian sent a congratulatory message to Armenian scientist Ardem Patapoutian on being awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology. The message says:

I was delighted to learn that together with your colleague Dr. David Julius you have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2021.
