Today, President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia Jonathan Lacotte on the occasion of completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

President Sarkissian highly appreciated Ambassador Lacotte's diplomatic service in Armenia and thanked him for his personal efforts to deepen the traditional Armenian-French friendly relations. "Thank you for your effective work during your diplomatic mission in Armenia," said President Sarkissian.

The President handed over a thanking letter to Ambassador Jonathan Lacotte, emphasizing his significant contribution to the friendship between the two countries and peoples.

Ambassador Jonathan Lacotte, in his turn, highly appreciated President Sarkissian’s confidence in his activity as ambassador. He said that he was and will remain one of the best friends of Armenia and will continue his contribution to the deepening of the Armenian-French friendly relations.
