President Armen Sarkissian will pay a working visit to Japan

The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian will pay a working visit to Japan. Along with other states’ heads, President Sarkissian will attend the official opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. The President of Armenia will take part in the official reception organized by the Emperor of Japan Naruhito at the Imperial Palace and will have a talk with the Emperor.

Within the visit, President Armen Sarkissian will meet Prime Minister of Japan Suga Yoshihide and discuss issues related to the deepening of Armenian-Japanese relations and the bilateral agenda.

President Sarkissian will also meet with the heads and businessmen of several well-known technology companies to discuss the possibilities of Armenian-Japanese cooperation, as well as visit scientific and educational institutions.

On his way to Tokyo, President Sarkissian will meet with the leadership of the State of Qatar in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to discuss issues related to the expansion of Armenian-Qatari cooperation and investment opportunities.
