Today, in the run-up to the National Assembly snap elections, President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian had telephone conversations with the Head of the National Security Service Armen Abazyan and the Chief of the Police Vahé Ghazaryan.

Noting that these elections are taking place in a difficult situation crises for our country, the President of the Republic considered it especially important that the law enforcement bodies act within their powers, with maximum responsibility and professionalism, guarantee legality and the rule of law, strictly prevent any violation of law, and ensure public order.
