The newly appointed Ambassador of Finland to Armenia presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian
Today, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of Armenia Kirsti Narinen (residence in Helsinki) presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on assuming office and wished her fruitful work. The President expressed confidence that the Ambassador's activities would contribute to the strengthening of relations between the two friendly countries.
The sides touched upon the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries. They considered science, education, high technologies, and some other spheres promising. In this context, President Sarkissian touched upon the presidential initiative ATOM (Advanced Tomorrow) and possible cooperation within it.
The interlocutors exchanged views on regional issues as well.
