The newly appointed Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian
The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Armenia Rina Kalyurand (residence in Tbilisi) presented her credentials to President Armen Sarkissian.
President Sarkissian congratulated the Ambassador on entering the diplomatic service in our country, wished her success and expressed confidence that she would use her experience to further develop and strengthen friendly relations. The President noted that Armenia and Estonia, being small countries, also have a lot in common. He stressed that there is great potential for cooperation, especially in the spheres of information technologies, artificial intelligence, science and technology, education and a number of other fields.
Ambassador Kaljurand conveyed President Sarkissian the warm greetings of Estonia’s President Kersti Kaljulaid and her support in this difficult period for Armenia. The Ambassador has noted that she sees broad opportunities for the development of cooperation between the two countries, and she is ready to contribute to this matter. She said that Estonia reached great success in the field of electronic management, as well as in working with the Diaspora, which may be interesting to Armenia.
They referred to the current situation in our country due to the war, also exchanged ideas on the perspectives of Armenia-European Union cooperation.
