President Armen Sargkissian met with public representatives

Last weekend, President Armen Sarkissian met with public representatives, among them political scientists, analysts, journalists, public and cultural figures.

During the conversation that lasted for more than two hours, President Sarkissian and the participants of the meeting exchanged views on the situation in the country and the numerous difficulties emerged: economic, inter-political, moral and psychological, coronavirus, and the opportunities to overcome the current crisis. The importance of maintaining stability in the country and the necessity of systemic accomplished state institutions and structures was emphasized. Reference was made especially to the intolerance prevailing on social networks, the dangerous abundance of false news and fake users, the inadmissibility of dividing the people and the polarization of the society.

The participants of the meeting asked many questions to the President of the Republic, as well as expressed their views on the situation in the country and possible solutions.
