Assess the situation correctly and move forward with clear plans

Today, the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with the hero of Artsakh, Major-General Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan and the founders of the initiative group of the Civic Council.

In particular, ideas were exchanged on the trilateral statement of settling the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict and in this context, the situation in the country.

The founders of the Civic Council Initiative Group, prominent scientists and intellectuals, expressed concern and worry about the current situation, as well as their views on finding ways out of it.

Noting that the society is in great pain today, interlocutors agree that it is necessary to maintain the country's stability, public solidarity and national unity. According to the President, there are many problems, difficulties and disagreements; however, they must be settled only within the law and legality; one must be able to stand up, assess the situation correctly, and move forward with clear plans.
