President Armen Sarkissian met with Vahram Baghdasaryan and Eduard Sharmazanov members of the executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia and Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the RPA youth organization

Today President Armen Sarkissian met with Vahram Baghdasaryan and Eduard Sharmazanov members of the executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia and Hayk Mamijanyan, the leader of the RPA youth organization, within the framework of his political consultations with political forces.

The focal points of the meeting were the statement and its provisions, signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan on the complete cessation of all hostilities in the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict zone.

President Armen Sarkissian said that it is important to have a nationwide consensus to resolve any issue of national importance, such as the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The RPA representatives presented their views on the text of the mentioned statement, its further action and the existing risks; they also expressed concern over the situation in the country and made definite proposals.
