President Armen Sarkissian initiated political consultations with parlamentary and extra-parlamentary forces

Today President Armen Sarkissian met with Armen Rustamyan, member of ARF Bureau and Artsvik Minasyan, member of the ARF Supreme Body of Armenia, within the framework of his political consultations with political forces.

At the meeting, they touched upon the current situation in the country, in particular, the statement, signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, and its provisions.

Considering the present authorities responsible, the ARF representatives expressed their worry and concern about the existing risks and presented their vision for overcoming the present situation.

It was emphasized that there should be a nationwide consensus on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict as an issue of national significance.

President Sarkissyan underlined the importance of maintaining the country's stability, and of public solidarity and unity.
