Today, President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian met with the representatives of the "Bright Armenia" faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia: the secretary of the faction Gorg Gorgisyan and deputy Ani Samsonyan, within the framework of his political consultations with the political forces.

The sides exchanged views on the statement signed by the Prime Minister of Armenia, the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, and the situation in the country.

The deputies presented their assessments, views and proposals.

They stressed the special importance of national unity and solidarity, as well as the preservation of internal political stability in the current situation.
