Recent events reveal once again unity and self-organizing qualities of our people: President Sarkissian met with the leadership of the Coordinating Council of Armenian organizations of France, heads of AGBU France and AGBU Europe

President Armen Sarkissian, who is in Paris on a working visit, met with ARF Bureau member, co-chair of the Coordinating Council of the Armenian Organizations of France Murad Papazian and Chairperson of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) France and AGBU Europe Nadya Gortsunian.

President Sarkissian spoke of the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh with the military and political support of Turkey and presented the current situation.

Stressing the importance of the past and present activities of the Armenian structures in Diaspora, as well as joint and diverse support of the Armenians of Diaspora to the Fatherland, the President of Armenia in this context hailed the works of the Armenian structures of France.

At the same time, President Sarkissian noted that there is still much to be done to deliver to the international community and heads of different states and peoples the truth about the NK conflict and the Azeri-Turkish military aggression and to help the Fatherland. The President of Armenia said that the recent events revealed once again the unity and self-organizing qualities of our people.

Murad Papazian and Nadya Gortsunian noted that Armenian Organizations of France, the whole Armenian-French community would continue to assist the Fatherland and would make every effort to convey truthful information about the real situation to the French public.
