President Sarkissian met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia

President Armen Sarkissian received today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia Lynne Tracy.

President Sarkissian spoke of the situation in Artsakh and borders of Armenia resulting from the war actions unleashed by Azerbaijan and expressed particular concern with Turkey’s unconcealed military and political assistance to Azerbaijan.

At the meeting stressed was importance of the recent joint declaration of the presidents of the three OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries – US, Russia and France.

At the same time, from the viewpoint of addressing the situation, President Sarkissian stressed the importance of an immediate termination of Turkey’s participation to the unfolding activities and with this regard underscored the important role of the international community.
