On the occasion of Independence Day President Armen Sarkissian received congratulations from the President of Georgia

On the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day, President Armen Sarkissian received a congratulatory message from the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili.

President Zurabishvili underscored that Georgia attaches great importance to the development of good-neighborly and mutually beneficial relations with the partner state and friendly Armenia.

“I am confident that the excellent collaboration between our two governments and active cooperation will continue to develop for the benefit of our peoples.

The pandemic has been a challenge for our two countries, but I am hopeful that through the coordinated efforts we will be able to overcome this global crisis and will be able to mitigate the subsequent social and economic difficulties,” the congratulatory message of the President of Georgia reads in particular.

Salome Zurabishvili wished President Armen Sarkissian health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Armenia.
