President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to President Armen Sarkissian on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.

The message of the Chinese President reads in particular:

“On behalf of the people and government of the People’s Republic of China and my own behalf I convey my sincere congratulations and good wishes to you and the friendly people of Armenia.

China and Armenia are traditionally friendly countries which provide a steady support to each other on the issues which are vital for the interests of the two countries. The joint fight against the COVID-19 pandemic reflects the high level of the bilateral relations as well as the deep and sincere friendship of our peoples.

I attach great importance to the development of the Chinese-Armenia relations and I am ready together with you to make joint efforts to elevate the multifaceted cooperation to a new level.”
