On the gas leak and explosion at Rainis 1 Street in Yerevan

President Armen Sarkissian expressed his support to those who suffered as a result of a gas leak and explosion at Rainis 1 Street in Yerevan and all tenants of the building.

President Armen Sarkissian expresses deep condolences to the family of Arthur Ghazarian, who died in the accident, and wishes a speedy recovery to all injured.

At the same time, the President of Armenia expresses confidence that the municipal authorities, with the government’s assistance, will eliminate the consequences of the explosion in the shortest possible time, will solve housing issue of all residents whose apartments have been partly damaged or totally collapsed as a result of the explosion.
