President Sarkissian visited Berd workshop of Tavush Textile company

In the framework of his working visit to Tavush marz, President Armen Sarkissian visited Berd town. In this border town, the President of Armenia visited the Berd workshop of the Tavush Textile company which is manufacturing gloves for construction workers.

During the last month’s military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan on the north-western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border shots were directed also at this factory.

The gloves for construction workers producing enterprise, conditioned by the coronavirus pandemic, in recent months has been manufacturing also medical masks. President Sarkissian toured the workshop, conversed with the employees, observed the production process and production volumes.

The leadership of the company introduced to the President the entire glove manufacturing process and noted that their main bulk is exported to the countries of the EUEA. They also spoke about programs and works aimed at the expansion of the production and workshops and noted soon in another border village, Paravakar, a new unit of the Tavush Textile ltd. will start functioning.
