President Armen Sarkissian sent his support and gratitude to the residents of Tavush
At the instruction of President Armen Sarkissian, the Head of the Presidential Administration Emil Tarassian spoke on the phone with the Head of Tavush marz Hayk Chobanian.
Noting the President’s great concern with the situation in the border area and especially with the fact that Azerbaijan is targeting peaceful population of the Armenian border villages, Emil Tarassiant inquired about the health condition of Aramais Hovakimian – a resident of Chinari village who was wounded by the strike from an Azerbaijani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). He also asked to convey President Sarkissian’s support and words of gratitude to our compatriots residing in the border area.
The Head of Tavush marz Hayk Chobanian told about the damage inflicted by the attacks of the Azerbaijanis on the peaceful population and settlings. The information on the damage at this moment is preliminary.
The Head of the Presidential Administration told about the President’s and the whole Presidential staff’s readiness to discuss opportunities of assistance after the results of the damage assessment become final and conclusive.
