I am sure you understand great responsibility judges hold before the people: the swearing in ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace

Today, at the Presidential Palace the swearing in ceremony for the judges of the General Court of First Instance of Syunik marz Emin Abgarian, Romen Aharonian, and Boris Bashkhian, the judge of the General Court of First Instance of Shirak marz Vahagn Torossian, the judge of the General Court of First Instance of Armavir marz Vahe Jivanian, the judge of the General Court of First Instance of Lori marz Andranik Simonian, and the judge of the General Court of First Instance of Tavush marz Sargis Armenakian took place. The ceremony was attended by President Armen Sarkissian.

The President congratulated the newly appointed judges and wished them success in their responsible work. “I am sure you understand well the great responsibility of the judge and the judicial system before the people. I wish you success and I am confident that you will carry out your duties at the highest level,” the President of Armenia said. “Your oath implies your service to our people, our country, our state, staying true to the Constitution and the laws. I hope you will be true to your oath.”
