Issues of food security are of paramount importance

President Armen Sarkissian met with the owner of Synik Food Company Sarmen Sargsyan.

President Sarkissian noted that issues of food security are of paramount importance not only in Armenia but also in the world and with this regard stressed the important the role of local producers.

The head of the company informed on their activities under the pandemic and noted that many of their partners and they too, currently experience certain problems which can affect adversely their future activities.

The interlocutors spoke of the prospects of the companies working in the marzes, stressed the importance of their uninterrupted work related to the creation of new jobs as well as cooperation with farmers.
