President Armen Sarkissian discussed with the architect Anahit Tarkhanian the initiative to create a Hay Park national park on the territory of the Tsitsernakaber Memorial

President Armen Sarkissian met today with the architect Anahit Tarkhanian.

At the meeting discussed were issues related to the President’s initiative to create a Hay Park national park on the territory of the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. The interlocutors stressed the importance of the park’s creation from the viewpoint of preservation of the national memory and all-Armenian unity as well as its significance for the capital’s ecological situation.

The architect Anahit Tarkhanian, who is the daughter of the architect Arthur Tarkhanian – a co-author of the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd, expressed readiness within the scope of her professional abilities to assist in calling to life such an important idea.
