President Sarkissian met with the Minister of Health: President is ready to continue to assist in the establishment of ties with different countries and structures to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic

President Armen Sarkissian met today with the Minister of Health Arsen Torossian.

President Sarkissian expressed anxiety and concern with the situation created by the pandemic. At the President’s proposal, the Minister presented information and clarifications on the strategy to overcome the pandemic, undertaken steps, and existing problems.

Minister Torossian informed the President of Armenia on the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic in the country, process of treatment and rehabilitation of the patients, problems existing in the healthcare area and on the most pressing needs of the system.

President Sarkissian expressed readiness within the scope of his abilities, using also his personal connections to assist in the establishment of ties and cooperation with different countries and structures to overcome the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
