President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated President Armen Sarkissian on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The message states:

“Distinguished Mr. President,

Accept my sincere congratulation on the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

We celebrate this dear for our people holiday and pay our deep respect to the undying heroic act of all those who fought against fascism to give peace and freedom to the future generations.

I am confident that the traditions of combat brotherhood forged during the years of war, unity, and mutual assistance in the future too, will be a strong base for the development of the allied Armenian-Russian relations.

Please convey my wishes of good health, happiness, and well-being to all veterans living in Armenia and those who were working in the rear.”
