On the occasion of Victory and Peace Day President Armen Sarkissian spoke on the phone with the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Margarita Darbinian-Melikian

The President congratulated the Armenian veteran on the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and sent her his warm wishes.

The President underscored the importance of our nation’s participation in the Great Patriotic War and WWII and noted that the victory was achieved through the joint efforts of the peoples of the USSR. President Sarkissian said that the veterans of the war are a living textbook of patriotism for the current and future generations.

President Armen Sarkissian spoke on the phone with Margarita Darbinian-Melikian also on March 18 and congratulated her on the 100th birth anniversary.
