There is no deal and there can be no deal
In response to the information disseminated by some media outlets that the president and prime minister of Armenia have allegedly made a deal-agreement related to the “Law on confiscation of property of illegal origin” adopted by the National Assembly, and in response to the inquiries from some news agencies, the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration informs:
There is no deal and there can be no deal. All this disinformation belongs to a series of nonsense which are being spread regularly by certain circles. People or groups of people, who have been specializing in the conspiracy theories close to absurdity, are trying to establish themselves as “great” wizards of conspiracy.
The President of Armenia has on many occasions, including from prestigious international platforms, spoke about the importance of ecological problems which the mentioned above individuals, due to various reasons, are not able to comprehend. As a result, they regularly enunciate nonsense of different type and nature.
As for the “Law on confiscation of property of illegal origin” adopted by the National Assembly, as stated previously, currently it is at the Presidential Administration. The relevant departments are examining the law, conducting a legal and specialized expertise to provide the President of the Republic with the expert opinion.
In accordance with the Constitution, the President will make his opinion known in the specified timeframe.
