Oath taking ceremony at the Presidential Palace: each case is also a test before our people

The oath taking ceremony of the acting member of the Supreme Judicial Council Armen Haykiants, judge of the Civil Court of Appeal Karen Hambardzumian, and judge of the Administrative Court Rustam Makhmudian took place at the Presidential Palace with the participation of President Armen Sarkissian.

“Each day you perform your professional duties should be dedicated to the important issues presented before the Supreme Judicial Council,” President Sarkissian said. He congratulated and wished all the best to the acting member of the SJC.

The President of Armenia wished success and years-long impeccable work to other judges, too. “I am confident that you realize the role and importance of your position and work for our Republic. Each court case, each trial is also a test before our people. I have no doubt you understand very well that especially today the attention of our society toward the court and judges is particular. It is means that this is not only an honor but also a huge responsibility. I hope you will do your work in the best possible way,” the President of Armenia noted.
